The big news this morning is that Microsoft has had to withdraw 4 of last weeks automatic updates. But in other news:
- Prepping for new management features: Azure will soon require administrators to be registered in Azure Active Directory to be able to sign in to the Azure portal or use the Azure management API.
- VMM Network Builder: VMM Network Builder is a VMM UI add-in that allows users to easily create virtual networks in VMM. Careful now, this tool was built by interns so it probably won’t be maintained. Don’t get too invested!
- Using file copy to measure storage performance: Why itβs not a good idea and what you should do instead
- Bill Gates ALS Ice Bucket Challenge: And you know he can’t just have someone dump a bucket over his head.

Aidan, your link for VMM network builder leads to the main download page, the correct link is http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=43975. Not that it’s hard to find π
Thanks!
