Coinciding with the Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2 General Availability Update Rollup is an update set of products in WSUS (and Windows Intune & System Center Configuration Manager) that you need to select in order to manage patching for:
- Windows RT 8.1 – yes; that’s what it is listed as!
- Windows 8.1
- Windows Server 2012 R2
Approve those products, re-sync, and approve as required, and now you can deploy that GA update rollup. Note that the GA (not RTM which was before today) media you download today onwards should include this update.
Note: no sign of System Center 2012 R2 in there yet.
