Customer satisfaction survey required for renewing gold partners.\u00a0 More Microsoft Financing providers.\u00a0 <\/li>\n<li>Connection: Web 2.0 fluff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The program will migrate from new to old over the next 18 months.<\/p>\n<p>New assets in the program:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A new social media site for partners.<\/li>\n<li>Profitability modelling toolset<\/li>\n<li>Testing for ISV\u2019s tool<\/li>\n<li>New Partner learning centre: badly needed because the old one looked like it was developed by a primary school dropout.\u00a0 It was impossible to find materials.<\/li>\n<li>Some sales resources tool.. updated reuse of MS IP.<\/li>\n<li>MS publishing a roadmap for 40 new service line offerings (whatever that means).<\/li>\n<li>New demo showcase suite for Azure<\/li>\n<li>SEO and digital marketing assets<\/li>\n<li>Pinpoint \u2013 looks like some kind of Virtual Earth implementation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>BPOS News:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>250 seats for internal usage for free!<\/li>\n<li>Order-on-behalf to improve<\/li>\n<li>A new dashboard to track assets<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>There was a demo of Windows 7.\u00a0 That was mostly stuff we\u2019ve seen before at demonstrations or have done ourselves at home.<\/p>\n<p>Windows 7 Volume License availability on September 1st, probably at around 20:00 GMT.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This event was streamed online.\u00a0 It opened up with lots of internationals talking about collaboration, hinting talk about SharePoint 2010.\u00a0 Then we got lots of \u201cStand by Me\u201d performances blended together.\u00a0 It left me wondering if I\u2019d gotten on to the Microsoft Idol feed instead of WPC09.
