Remember that European customers will get a version of Windows 7 with no IE in it?\u00a0 That means we can\u2019t do an upgrade so there won\u2019t be an upgrade edition.\u00a0 MS are promising us Full installation media at upgrade prices.\u00a0 I\u2019ve got to think they will check for a pre-existing license some how.<\/p>\n

European prices?\u00a0 I\u2019ve no idea.\u00a0 I guess the price will be similar to above but will swap the $ for a \u20ac.\u00a0 That\u2019s what they did with Vista with the reason being \u201cexchange rates\u201d.\u00a0 It made no sense to us because the price was way higher for us, e.g. back then \u20ac1 = $1.25.\u00a0 Now it\u2019s bouncing around \u20ac1=$1.35.\u00a0 Hopefully they won\u2019t make that mistake again.\u00a0 I\u2019ve read the prices are around 10% less than the original Vista pricing.\u00a0 That\u2019s good.<\/p>\n

PC\u2019s bought from June 26th get a free upgrade.\u00a0 There\u2019s also an early adopter price for upgrades.\u00a0 That looks to be around half price and start on June 15th.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
