The second app was a Hyper-V Manager, available in the Windows Store, and designed to run in the new Windows UI, on Windows 8 and Windows RT (including Surface et al).&#160; <\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"http:\/\/apps.microsoft.com\/windows\/en-us\/app\/hyper-v-manager\/35563403-f3b9-40c6-9e08-9a046f1686f4\" target=\"_blank\">app<\/a> is not published by Microsoft.&#160; It is by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.compugeeksoftware.com\/software\/hyperv.aspx\" target=\"_blank\">CompuGeek Software<\/a>.&#160; The app is free and is in the Windows Store.&#160; It gives you basic functionality:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start, pause, and save virtual machines <\/li>\n<li>View screenshots of virtual machines <\/li>\n<li>View server status and amount of memory free <\/li>\n<li>Support for multiple servers <\/li>\n<li>Support for Active Directory domains<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> <a href=\"https:\/\/aidanfinn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/image6.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"image\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; float: none; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; margin-left: auto; border-left: 0px; display: block; padding-right: 0px; margin-right: auto\" border=\"0\" alt=\"image\" src=\"https:\/\/aidanfinn.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/01\/image_thumb5.png\" width=\"404\" height=\"246\" \/><\/a>  <\/p>\n<p>&#160;<\/p>\n<p>There is no connect window for KVM access to the VM.&#160;
