I installed Windows 8 Enterprise (RTM) on my Build slate PC last night and I noticed in PC Settings that the sucker would fail to activate:<\/p>\n

"Windows can’t activate right now." Error Code: 0x8007232B<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

It appears that the Enterprise edition defaults to searching for a KMS to activate on, as you\u2019d expect in an enterprise network.  I mentioned it to one of the guys in work and he just posted me the fix from the TechNet Forums<\/a>:<\/p>\n

  1. Search for CMD<\/li>\n
  2. Run it as administrator (elevated command prompt)<\/li>\n
  3. Run slmgr.vbs \u2013ipk <YOUR_PRODUCT_KEY><\/em>, e.g slmgr.vbs \u2013ipk ABCDE-12345-ABCDE-12345-ABCDE<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    And Bob\u2019s your Uncle!<\/p>\n
