I wanted to post a Tweet saying it was T-3 until the new book was out. I decided to double-check the availability date on Amazon.com (USA) when …
It’s out NOW!
I can’t wait to get a paper copy. The norm is that folks in the USA who order now will have it before we authors do. I just got it on Kindle and it looks good if I do say so myself
So that’s that! The Kindle version appears to be out on all Amazon stores. The paperback is out in the USA, and appears to be coming to Amazon Europe on April 5th:
- Amazon.com: paperback and Kinlde
- Amazon.co.uk: Kindle
- Amazon.de: Kindle
The book is also (coming) out through the usual tech book channels, so check them out if Amazon doesn’t cover your area.
Congrats to the author team, Hans, and the editors for all the hard work, and a special thanks to Mariann for believing in this project.

Had it pre-ordered for quite some time now, look forward to receiving it!
Thank you dear Aidan,
I pre-ordered last week and looking forward to receiving it.
Could you please advise from where can I get the kindle version?
Best regards,
Amazon.
Six hundred and forty-seven dollars for a used copy, Aidan?

Imagine if it was (a) real and (b) signed 🙂
Already got my book in today from Amazon. Haven’t had time to really read it because it’s been one of those days but I like the useful powershell cmdlets already.
Aidan:
Love the book. My only gripe with the book is the powershell scripts. The scripts themselves are great (especially the converged fabric scripts) and Daman’s configure script but is there a way short of writing out the pages from the book that there is an electronic version of the scripts that can be downloaded? I know that you have blocked copying off the blog for copyright infringement so I know it is a sensitive thing but figured I would ask
Thanks Tracy,
Blame me for that decision. The publisher asked if we should share the scripts online. I thought for some time about this and decided against it. I didn’t want people just grabbing the scripts because, well, they probably wouldn’t buy the book. Or we’d get people taking the scripts and presenting them as there own.
